I never talk politics on the blog.

Just this once.

Oh and this.

Here we go again.

It should be noted that not all of us voted for him.

I most certainly wasn't someone that voted for him. He is an embarassment.

I don't know anyone who did for vote him, so frankly, I'm flummoxed as to why he's in office. What a monumental waste of time.

See, I can't even type right when the subject is him - I mean I don't know anyone who did VOTE FOR HIM.

Jeez. I guess I have a good chance at being president myself.

Well I'm going to be the dissenter - if I could've voted for him I would have. I don't see him "panting like a dog," he makes funny noises all the time as do many people. As for Iran, do you really think the diplomatic option will work now that Iran has successfully enriched uranium. Do you think the President of Iran will think twice about knocking out anyone he doesn't like with a nuke. Let's be realistic and know that a military option has and always will be on the table when dealing with this kind of thing. It doesn't mean it will be used (fingers crossed) but it can't be automatically ruled out.

Maybe Iran wouldn't be enriching uranium if we had stayed out of Iraq. Remember there weren't any weapons of mass destruction there. Oh, and I'm sure Bush calling them the axis of evil didn't help any. (This is in response to Beck)

I personally think that someone, anyone should give that man a BJ and we should impeach!

I heard Sy Hersh on NPR's "Fresh Air" today, and my hair stood on end. This is a scary, bombastic administration, and I am frightened by their potential.

Unfortunately I do know someone (actually two people) who voted for him. Luckily (I guess) our votes don't count in California -- our votes are already pretty much given to be Democratic so they don't do anything but come here and ask for our money. The person see regularly who did is seriously drinking the Kool-Ade. You should hear the stuff she spouts, one of which being "feminists" support that Andrea Yates killed her five kids! I guess that kind of gives you an idea of who voted for him. It certainly wasn't a "mandate".

Not only is he an embarrassment but I feel 1000 times less safe than I did 5 years ago. I hope we survive the next 3 years.

I know one person who voted for him, and she's embarrassed. For the last couple of years, I thought I was having a flashback to 1970, Vietnam years, that whole nightmare. Nixon was bad. This one is insane, and his advisors are incomprehensibly venal.

Joe Biden was on Bill Maher last Friday. He laid out such a cogent examination of the Middle East, from the borders that were carved out of the Ottoman Empire after the first WW, to how a diplomatic solution could work now -- if someone had the guts to be (as I think of it) Nixon in China. These people are not even pragmatists. They're as much idealogues and evangelicals as the crazy who's now in Iran.

By all means, discuss politics! Why not?

Fortunately, the majority of people did vote for him.
